This version focuses on competitive score chasing: a live shared leaderboard, score checkpoints, combo rewards, fair-but-challenging piece generation, placement previews, persistent sound settings, and a mobile-first drag experience. The goal is simple to learn but difficult to master.
Your personal best is saved on your device, while qualifying leaderboard scores can be shared online. New gameplay features can be added without wiping the real leaderboard because the records live separately in Cloudflare D1.

Three fixed puzzles change every day. Each starts from a dangerous board and gives you the exact pieces needed to escape. Puzzle 1 is hard, Puzzle 2 is brutal, and Puzzle 3 is intentionally insane.
A two-minute score attack with more aggressive piece selection and no time to overthink.
A speed challenge: clear 10, 15, or 20 total rows or columns (your choice, default 10) as fast as you can. Your timer counts upward, so efficient board management matters more than raw score.
