Block Burst is an independent browser puzzle game designed around quick decisions, board management, and competitive score chasing. Each turn gives you a small set of fixed block shapes. Your job is to fit them onto an 8×8 board, clear complete rows and columns, and keep enough space open to survive the next set.

Why this version exists

The project is focused on making a familiar block-puzzle format feel competitive on the web. It includes a shared all-time leaderboard, score checkpoints, combo scoring, line-clear previews, mobile drag controls, sound settings, and a generator tuned to remain challenging without constantly forcing one hidden solution.

Designed for the browser

The game is lightweight and built with plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. There are no large game-engine downloads or account requirements. The leaderboard is powered by Cloudflare D1, while local preferences such as sound volume and personal best can stay on your device.

Block Burst uses its own name, visual identity, website, leaderboard, progression elements, and presentation. It is independently developed and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by other block-puzzle games or their publishers.
